Political censorship threaten internet activism around the world
On the backdrop of Iranian election and subsequent censorship applied on the web, the web community around the world are increasingly challenged by the political curbing on net. In yet another move by Chinese government, Google was ordered to implement a number of filtering options so that it is brought inline with existing political and religious firewall like Great firewall of China. If implemented this would further strangle the access of information to the web users.
